FAQS

TYPES OF CHARTERS AND FISH WE CATCH

We do private (only your group will participate) inshore and offshore charters where we catch many different species of fish during different seasons, including but not limited to grouper, snapper, kingfish, cobia, permit, seatrout, snook, redfish, and barracuda.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) as well as a towel. You can also bring a small cooler for drinks or food.

WHAT DO WE PROVIDE ON YOUR TRIP

We provide fishing licenses, lifejackets, rods, reels, fishing line, bait, and hooks. We will also provide water, ice and snacks.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED ON YOUR TRIP

Gratuities are not included, it is recommended to tip the Captain/Guide (industry standard 10-20%), and restrooms on the Pathfinder. Restrooms are available at Naples City Dock before and after the charter trip.

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR

Please wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes (preferably non-slip). Prepare to potentially get wet and be in warm temperatures and the sun for an extended amount of time.

CAN YOU KEEP AND EAT YOUR CATCH?

Yes! If you want your catch cleaned we will do that and bag your catch so you can easily cook your fish as soon as you get home. Some Naples restaurants will also cook your catch for you.

AREAS WE SERVE

Naples and Marco Island, Florida.

HOW GOOD IS FISHING IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA?

Naples, Florida is centrally located among one of the most active fisheries in the state – the Southwest Florida coast. While Naples in and of itself is home to the best in backwater fishing, it also provides our guests with options to fish the neighboring fisheries of Marco Island and the Gulf of Mexico.

All of these areas are home to extremely diverse estuaries that house all of Florida’s most sought-after inshore and offshore species of gamefish.

OUR LOCATION

Please meet Captain Mike at least half an hour before scheduled departure time at the city dock in Naples (located at 880 12th Ave S, Naples, FL 34114).
