CAPTAIN DAVIS OLSON
Captain Davis Olson was born and raised in Naples, Florida. A graduate of Naples High School, he has been fishing the local waters since he could hold a rod. Davis spent his summers casting up and down the iconic Naples pier. At the age of 9, his passion for fishing grew ever stronger when his parents came home with a boat. From that day on, he was completely hooked. At the age of 20 Captain Davis decided he would combine passion with profession and become a full time guide. What sets Captain Davis apart is his total commitment to his craft. There are no off days for Davis. Every day is spent learning, evolving and progressing to provide the best possible experience for clients. His goal is to create epic memories for each person who steps on the boat!
Captain Davis is happily married. He is a sportsman and conservationist, serving as the advocacy chair for the Naples Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. Davis competes in the local tournament circuit, having two 1st place finishes under his belt.

Full Day Offshore Fishing Charters
60 miles into the Gulf of Mexico for grouper, snapper, kingfish, plus many other species. On full day fishing trips we also wreck fish for Goliath Grouper (catch and release only), barracuda, cobia and giant permit.
Half Day Offshore Fishing Charters
20 miles into the Gulf and fish for grouper, snapper, or other seasonal species.
Inshore Fishing Charters
10 miles of shores and calm bays of Naples or Marco Island area and fish for redfish, snook, snapper, or other seasonal species.
Inshore Fishing
Inshore fishing varies by seasons. Starting in the spring we catch snook, tarpon and redfish in the bays, and permit, cobia and barracuda along with huge goliath grouper on the nearshore reefs. In the winter we fish in the bays for sea trout, sheepshead and black drum, and nearshore reefs in the winter we fish for snappers, sheepshead and gag grouper.
Offshore Fishing
For offshore we fish year round for red grouper, catching our limit on most trips. Other species we fish for include snapper, cobia, permit, kingfish and African pompano. The water temperature’s offshore in the Gulf of Mexico stay warmer longer than inshore in bays and backwaters, allowing us to fish many different species year round.

Best Charter Fishing Experience Ever!
This guy is the best hands down! Extremely knowledgable and down to earth. You wana catch great fish and have fun? This is the guy! He was relentless in getting us to the best spots and making sure we all caught fish, which we did. Once we got to a spot where he said we should hit some grouper, we were non stop on the rods n reels! It was amazing. Within a matter of seconds we were catching red grouper! (Literally dropped the bait in and felt a bite). By the way, he started the day by catching live bait for us which made a HUGE difference! He truly made this an experience to remember and we’ve been fishing for years in Florida and all over Michigan.”

Undoubtedly the best charter captain we have fished with and we’ve been doing this for 30+ years in many parts of the world. Mike has exceptional knowledge of the area, a superbly equipped and very fast boat and a real desire to please his clients. Out this week for a session where we fished several marks and caught a great variety of fish, some of which made it to the dinner table. He can ‘smell’ good fishing spots and will move if sites are no producing bites.”
Great Day with Grandson
Took my 16 year old grandson for a 1/2 day charter with Captain Mike and had one the most rewarding with Colin. We first targeted red grouper and snapper and kept very busy catching almost non stop. We got our limit of red grouper that ranged from 23″ to 26″ and released a whole lot more. We then went after gag grouper and Colin quickly had a big gag hooked but before he could get it to the boat a large goliath decided to battle him for it and the goliath won when it got back to the wreck. Mike then went to another location and on the first drop Colin had another gag on and won the battle with a 28″ gag. What a wonderful day. Mike did a great job for us and we will never forget the the great time together. I highly recommend Captain Mike and the Findictive.”
